Kimberly Rodes is from White Sulphur Springs West Virginia, home of The Greenbrier Resort and breeds Miniature Schnauzers exclusively. As a 3rd generation breeder, Kim chose to carry on the family tradition when her parents were no longer able to continue this family passion. She has improved the quality of her lines and is committed to preserving the breed standards. Her puppy's, now adults, can be found all up and down the east coast and in some mid-western states. Mountain Creek Miniature Schnauzers is warm, active, dog-oriented, but small kennel where Kim also grooms and boards selectively and privately. All puppies are vet checked between 3-5 days old when their tails and declaws are docked and removed. They are again vet checked at 6 and 8 weeks where they are administered their vaccines and pass a fecal panel. Why take them to vet? Why not do them at home? Mountain Creeks prides itself on two principles: 1. Quality Breeding 2. Veterinarian input. Kim feels if she is going to ask a sizeable amount for her pups, then she wants a veterinarian to not only provide a solid reference but and an honorable one. Kim will go to great lengths to keep the prospective buyer well informed weekly of the development and status of your selected pup. She will provide photos, videos, and facetime you, so you don't miss a minute your new family member. All of the puppies come with LIMITED pedigree but from time to time, she will sell those right to the perfect family. A 1-year health guarantee is provided by a contract between the parties. Deposits are required to reserve your pup. Mountain Creek will not ship by air, but Kim will occasionally deliver your pup for an additional fee. However, she welcomes all buyer to her home with a scheduled appointment. If you choose a pup from Mountain Creek, know that you have purchased a well-bred pup from a loving responsible breeder.
