Here at Whistling Winds Retrievers we strive to raise and train an exceptional retriever that will excell as your hunting companion, competition partner, and family pet all in one! We choose our dogs for their excellent lineage, ease of trainability and outstanding structure and beauty. All of our dogs are DNA tested for common genetic disorders like EIC and CNM, OFA hips and elbows, eyes CERF clear and current, and are DNA tested CLEAR of the dilute gene. Our dogs are not only our hunting companions, but also our family pets that even our children (ages 8-13) can handle with ease. Our puppies come dewormed and vaccinated with their dew claws removed and come with written health guarantee. They will also go home microchipped with prepaid enrolment through AKC Reunite. They're family raised underfoot with children and introduced to wings and retrieving as well as many other scenarios. We start potty training at 3.5-4 weeks of age, and they're going outside to go potty by 5-6 weeks of age. Our mission is to produce happy and healthy Retrievers that are true to their standard and that are able to perform for you the way the breed we originally intended to. We stand behind our dogs.
