We needed a hypo-allergenic family dog and found Spanish Water Dogs (Perro de Agua Espanol).  So we went to Spain and chose a puppy from a top breeder who wins many national championships. We fell in love with our first girl because of her intelligence, trainability, adaptability.  So we went back to Spain a year later and got a male (and his sister for another family member). We breed very occasionally, and raise our puppies in our home. Our dogs are esteemed family members as well as successful agility competitors.
