Nefer-Temu hails from the Pacific Northwest and has been involved in showcasing the functional beauty and mind of this ancient, versatile breed for almost 30 years. We are dedicated to the preservation of classic, correct breed type and structural soundness, which includes rigorous health testing and consistent competition/success in the show ring and performance events, as well as producing beautiful athletic pets with great temperaments. Pharaoh Hounds bred by Nefer-Temu have collectively earned over 250 titles worldwide and have achieved high national rankings in conformation (the show ring), lure coursing, obedience, agility, rally, flyball, and canine nosework. We take health testing very seriously and currently sport more CHIC-numbered Pharaohs (dogs who have completed all of the national parent club recommended health certifications) than any other breeder in the country. Nefer-Temu has been recognized as a Breeder of Merit by the American Kennel Club. We have well-planned and purpose-bred litters with both competition and pet/companion prospects occasionally available. Our puppies are home-raised, well-socialized, fully vetted, and started in formal training during the critical early weeks of life with us.
