Located in SW Washington state and breeds only Bouvier des Flandres.  There are no kennels on the property. Puppies are raised in my home. All puppies come with at least 2 sets of shots and will have been wormed multiple times. Pups come with a 1 year guarantee. Daddy had all testing and and came through with flying colors! Parents are on site - come out and visit us! I have no kennel name, the e-mail address is just that an e-mail address. I am not now, nor have I ever been a kennel, I prefer to stay small and spend more time with the babies in the house. All pups come with limited registration. I do have adults available from time to time. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder.

We breed quality Bouvier des Flandres and Rat Terriers. We have been active in the breeds for over 20 years. All of our adult dogs are completely health tested, with results posted on the OFA site. Pups are all AKC registered and raised using the best practices we can find for producing social, healthy adults, including the Bio Sensor and Puppy Culture programs. ~~~~~~ Most of our adults dogs are titled in either performance sports or AKC conformation. We are active in showing and training our dogs. We do have some that we co-own who live with their families, and while they are health tested, they may not be titled. However, we feel that knowing they are excellent family dogs is of as much value as any title or ribbon.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are currently planning for a Spring Bouvier litter. These pups should be well balanced, active dogs suitable for Sports, Families and possibly Conformation. This litter our goal is more towards excellent temperament and drive. We have a winter Rat Terrier litter planned. Aretha has passed all of her health tests, including all the genetic marker tests! All tests are listed on the OFA website. We will be breeding her when she comes in season, likely in December or January. We expect great companions, show and performance dogs from this combination.

I started with Bouviers back in 1992 and after a break have returned to the breed I love. Temperament, health and structure are our focus. We believe in keeping the breed alive with ability to work and be a companion. Our dogs are all health tested prior to breeding, hips, elbows, heart and eyes and listed on OFA for transparency. With out transparency you can't move forward with the health of a dog. We do groom and show our dogs and they live here in our home. We are also members of the Columbia Bouvier des Flandres club.

We enjoy raising quality Bouviers for families to enjoy. They are a smart, loyal breed that I have loved for 30 years. As we are raising for families, health and personality are important to us. Most of our dogs now have their CHIC#. We are working on diversity including importing dogs from The Netherlands and Czech Republic. Our lines include champions. I have been fortunate to have a mentor that has been breeding quality Bouviers for many years. We are fortunate to have great vets that work with us and our breeding program to ensure we have healthy puppies. If they feel an adult should not be used in a breeding program than we find them pet homes. They thoroughly vet check all of our puppies at 6-8 weeks of age and individual puppy information from that vet check is provided to the new owners. We offer a health guarantee. All puppies have a microchip. We feel it is important for puppies and families to meet and spend time together for the best match. We accept deposits and then let people spend time with puppies to find the right fit. Our best reference is the Mensonides Kennels Facebook Group page with our extended family of puppies.
