Lacey PBGV South is in Virginia, and, along with our partner, Juli Lacey-Black, Lacey Kennels, Maine, breed and raise Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen. Juli does most of the showing of the dogs. We raise the babies. This is not a Breed for everyone. While they are cute, funny and lovable, they are very much a HOUND, and can be stubborn, hard headed and opinionated. It is a rather primitive Breed, in that something that hurts or scares them will be avoided in the future at all cost. All puppies are microchipped as they leave for their new homes and have had at lease 2 vaccinations and full examination by a veterinarian. All parents are tested for POAG, Glaucoma, or Cleared genetically. We give a Lifetime Replacement Guarantee for any genetic Health problem or temperament problems.
