Norfolk Terrier

I grew up in the purebred dog community and have been involved with Norfolk Terriers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels since 1996. We have just a few Norfolks who live in our home as family members. Health and temperament are our first priority in our dogs. We carefully match puppies with their forever homes to get just the right fit, and remain committed to our dogs throughout their lives. While our numbers are small, we have many champions and top-winning dogs in two breeds. We sometimes have adult dogs to place in loving forever homes.

Norfolk Terrier

Ann Parris Kelley established Dove Hill Labradors in 1983. Ann has bred all three colors of Labrador Retrievers for the past 35 years. Her love for them prompted a Bachelor of Science degree at Virginia Tech in Animal Science where she concentrated on behavior and genetics. She has attained numerous performance and breed titles with her labs. Over the years she began to import some classic English studs which improved and strengthened her foundation blood. Dove Hill is NOT a puppy mill. We are a serious, small breeding and training kennel. We breed only four to six litters per year of yellow, chocolate and black labradors. Consequently, a waiting list is usually on hand for our upcoming litters. Our small, specialized size ensures lots of hands on for every dog, every puppy, every day. We are as dedicated to them, as they are to us. Located 1 hour South of the Washington DC beltway in Culpeper, Va. Or 45 min North of Charlosttesville, Va. Situated on 13 acres well off the road and surrounded by creeks, pastures and woods including a pond for the dogs. Norfolk Terriers became or second passion in the early 90's. They are wonderfully devoted companions. Easy to train and live with, we have had the occasional litter over the years. We are committed to temperament, proper health clearances and top shelf quality. Now fully retired since 2011, we have 3 full house Norfolks. Shhhhhh don't tell them they're not labs!
