Our Dam is fed top quality food, has frequent check-ups by a licensed vet, and is thoroughly loved and monitored throughout the pregnancy, whelping, and nursing process. We only have one litter per year and are selective in who may purchase a pup. We want the best for both, the human and the pup. The pups in our litters receive frequent check-ups, tail docking, declaw removal, two deworm treatments, first set of shots and are microchipped - all performed by a licensed vet. Triple Cord Kennels was started out of our love for German Shorthaired Pointers. We picked up our first GSP and began the process of training her in the hopes to take her hunting one day. That day finally came and I was hooked! Since then, we tried breeding with her, but she didn't take. Which caused us to be on the hunt for another female, with a great blood line, and from a first class kennel. I am just a small time breeder and take a quality over quantity approach to breeding, with an emphasis on hunting. I will only breed dogs which have proven to have the desired traits needed for hunting such as high drive, energy, endurance as well as a natural pointing ability. With that said I realize not everyone is a hunter and may just be looking for a good pet and that is perfectly fine. They are very loving and loyal companions also.
