I love spending time with my Lakelands everyday! I think what makes the Lakeland my breed of choice is their fun, playful, energetic and inquisitive personality! The Lakeland Terrier is a rare small terrier breed from the Lake District in England. They tend to weigh around 17 pounds, growing somewhere between 14 and 15 inches tall. Lakies have a wiry, low shedding coat which makes them popular with dog owners that suffer from allergies. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders.
