Great Pyrenees

CnZ Farms is a small hobby family farm. Our Great Pyrenees are the best of both worlds, AKC Champion beauty balanced by working guardian lines. Our goal is to preserve the quality of the breeds conformation and temperament. As our dogs are loved family members their puppies are gentle, social, obedient and protective when needed. All puppies are socialized with children and various livestock from the beginning, while being mentored by their working parents. As all of our puppies have different personalities we do evaluate for the proper placement. With that being said, we ask that all prospective new homes please do your research on the breed as they are not a fit for all households and farms. Prior to puppies leaving CnZ Farms Puppies are Micro-chipped, provided all age appropriate de-worming and vaccines and vet-checked along with a health certification if traveling. New owners are provided with the appropriate AKC registration documentation and have a life time of support. CnZ Farms happily will assist with reasonable travel accommodations at the new owner’s expense. And lastly, we try to be as transparent as possible, a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit and Seller/Buyer Contract are required to hold a puppy. Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns you might have [email protected]

Great Pyrenees

AKC GRAND & MULTI CHAMPION lined Great Pyrenees. Raised on our hobby farm with sheep and chickens, not in kennels. Our goal in breeding is to preserve the Great Pyrenees standards in all their wonderful qualities. We have researched and bought AKC Champions or sons and daughters of AKC champion and grand champions that have outstanding pedigrees including some of the best kennels. This is to keep the best qualities possible in our puppies. Many people ask why our puppies are expensive. Our goal is stated so well in the article from gooddog.com, The fundamental difference between purebred dogs and well-bred dogs. “...breeders working hard to uphold breed standards and protect structurally, physically, and emotionally sound dogs...”

Great Pyrenees

Hi, I am Jessica Adele Bremner, owner of Freedom Valley Farm. We are nestled in a little town called Sweetwater in the beautiful rolling hills of East Tennessee. Horses, goats, chickens, cats, and dogs live with us on our farm. I purchased my first Pyrenees in 2008 to protect our little herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats. I absolutely fell in love with the breed. I was captured by their grace, beauty, loyalty, strength, affection , and working instinct. When we were ready to buy another Pyr, we decided to go with an AKC registered dog as to ensure purity of breed and quality. I then decided to start my adventure of breeding. I a Veterinary Technican at a small animal clinic. I am well equipped with knowledge and resources to raise puppies and provide the best care possible. My whole life revolves around caring for animals on my farm and at my job. Animals are my true passion. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.

Blythe Reichert is from the Knoxville Tennessee area and breeds Great Pyrenees. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual. Our pups are raised on a 75 acre Organic working sheep farm and are exposed to Livestock from a young age. Pups are out of proven guardians. We have been combining show lines with working lines, with the goal of producing show quality dogs with excellent health and working instincts. Our dogs live a natural life, and are not raised in kennels. They have and maintain relationships with other members of the pack and are allowed to stay with their dam as long as possible to learn appropriate behaviors with other dogs and with livestock. They are “good citizens” and have an excellent foundation in life. Our dogs are NDG clear, clear for DM, CMR1 and Glanzmann Thrombasthenia. They have OFA testing done as well, on hips, elbows and patellas. No dogs are bred that have poor OFA scores.

Great Pyrenees

The farm is located in Dunlap, TN, on Cagle Mountain. We raise AKC registered Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs experienced with cattle, goats, sheep, swine, equine, and chickens. Our dogs are excellent as Family Guard Dogs (FGD) or Livestock Guard Dogs (LGD). Our purpose is to responsibly breed Pyrs to protect our livestock and find them a suitable loving home where they continue to grow and develop to mature adults. Great Pyrenees make excellent family dogs due to their friendliness; they are very affectionate and love to be surrounded by people. Ours love children and also get along great with cats and a variety of livestock. They have a majestic presence due to their fluffy and frizzy coat gives them a lion-like appearance. They are elegant, friendly, funny, family-oriented, and loyal. They like to do perimeter sweeps around our herds at night to keep coyotes, fox, black bear, and other threats at bay. Puppies will have the first veterinary check, first set of vaccines, AKC Reunite microchip, and lifetime breeder support.
