Here at Black Powder Kennel, we are members in good standing with the Black Russian Terrier Club of America (BRTCA). We strive to better the Black Russian Terrier breed by utilizing proven methods of selection for Sire and Dam of every litter. We consider all aspects of standard, temperament and health as well as others. We are proud to be members of the AKC Bred with HEART program and Tessa is an AKC Breeder of Merit. Our BRT's have as wonderful temperaments as they are versatile. We have some that have gone on to be therapy dogs, service dogs, protection dogs, champions & all are loved family members. Our puppies are raised following the Puppy Culture protocol. We use the Volhard Puppy Aptitude test conducted by a 3rd party for each puppy. We require all prospective owners fill out a puppy application that can be found on our website - www.BlackPowderKennel.com AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder.
