Richard Bean is from Tennessee and breeds Anatolian Shepherd Dogs. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
Our Anatolina Shepherds (also known as, Anatolians, ASD's and LGD's) are working dogs who are currently protecting sheep which we also show. I often rotate the dogs from field work to in the house for family guardian purposes. Great care has been taken to assure the mental and structural soundness of each dog we breed. Stable, confident, affectionate, even tempered dogs who posses a willingness to please and natural guardian instincts are priorities for us when we choose our breeding stock. Our mission is to produce superior quality dogs for the purpose of guarding all types of livestock, and families as well as producing the type of dogs which will be used for the purpose of improving the quality and structure of available Anatolian Shepherd Dogs in America. Specifically, we are committed to matching each unique puppy we produce to the specific family God intended for our pups when He took great care to create them. Last but definitely not least, our dogs are all health tested prior to breeding. If you think an Anatolian is right for you, I would love the opportunity to see if I have a dog that will be the one you have dreamed of. Email is the most effective way to reach me since I am in the country and rarely near a phone.
