Lower Forty Farms LLC is owned and operated by Jordan and Ashley Harris and located on forty-four acres in Cameron, South Carolina. Since 2019, our primary focus has been producing show quality, colored Boer goats using some of the best genetics in the industry. We strive to produce goats that meet all of the ABGA breed standards and possess the qualities necessary to thrive in any breeding program. To complement our operation, we also breed AKC registered Anatolian Shepherd Dogs. Our dogs are working livestock guardian dogs and do an excellent job protecting our herd from predators. Our standard contract/guarantee terms: *Deposits to hold a puppy are non-refundable, but may be applied to a future litter for up to twelve (12) months, providing your puppy pick is less than six (6) weeks of age when you make your decision. *Payment must be in the form of cash, U.S. Postal money order, or we may accept credit cards with or through Facebook Pay, PayPal or Venmo. Buyer agrees that there will be no charge backs filed through Facebook Pay, PayPal, Venmo or their credit card company on this transaction for any reason. No personal checks will be accepted. *Puppies may be shipped after eight (8) weeks of age, but this is at the Seller’s discretion. Final payment must be received one (1) week prior to shipment unless other arrangements have been made or if you are picking up your puppy. If you are picking up your puppy, final payment must be in cash or through Facebook Pay, PayPal or Venmo. *Buyer may request a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for an additional fee of $25.00 per certificate. *Seller will assume no shipping costs associated with sale or guarantee. *If Buyer does not arrange pickup by ten (10) weeks, a $2.00 per day fee will apply for every day after ten (10) weeks until pickup is arranged. *Registration fees are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Puppy comes with an American Kennel Club (AKC) registration application. *The puppy’s name choice is at the discretion of the Buyer so long as it complies with the guidelines set forth by the AKC. *Seller guarantees the puppy for five (5) days from the date of receipt against the following diseases: Parvovirus, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza and Corona Virus. *Puppy must be vet checked within three (3) business days of receipt or guarantee is void. *In the event that any of the above stated diseases are diagnosed within the five (5) day period, the Seller is to be notified within twenty-four (24) hours. A licensed veterinarian must verify the diagnosis with lab results and it must be provided within three (3) business days of said diagnosis. Once the Seller has received confirmation of the submitted diagnosis, Seller will accept the immediate return of the puppy and refund the purchase price. *Guarantee does not cover any diseases for which vaccinations could prevent, except within the five (5) day from date of receipt period. *Seller guarantees the puppy to be healthy at the time of purchase, and will come with all age appropriate vaccinations and wormings. In addition, Seller guarantees the puppy to be free from genetic defects that are detrimental to the puppy’s health for six (6) months from the puppy’s date of birth. *In the event that a genetic defect is found by a licensed veterinarian within the health guarantee period, Seller will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value upon receipt of a letter confirming diagnosis by a licensed veterinarian, and the return of the original puppy. We cannot predict a time frame when a replacement puppy will be made available, but the Buyer will have first pick from subsequent litters. *In the event said puppy expires within the health guarantee period, the Buyer must have an autopsy performed by a licensed Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory confirming the diagnosis. In order to receive a replacement puppy, the report must be sent to Seller confirming the cause to be congenital. *Buyer will incur all charges for future vaccinations, wormings and initial office visit exam within the three (3) day period. Seller is not responsible for any vet bills. *All warranties are void in the event the Buyer neglects to have the puppy properly vaccinated by a licensed veterinarian, or in any way harms, neglects or fails to give puppy proper medical attention. *While no refunds will be given, Seller is willing to take back the puppy at any time if the Buyer is unable to keep him/her due to any circumstances. Under no circumstances is the puppy to be sold, leased or given away to a pet store, laboratory, research facility or animal shelter. *No guarantee is made to adult size or adult color. Any estimates given are based solely on the breeder’s experience. All of our puppies are sold as pet quality. Some may have show quality but are not sold as such. Hernias, floating patellas, hypoglycemia, malnutrition and dehydration are not covered under this guarantee. *No other guarantee is made or implied, except as stated in this written guarantee. *Guarantee applies to the original Buyer only, and is not transferable. *Any disputes will be litigated in Calhoun County, South Carolina at the Buyer’s expense. *By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read and understand the above contract/guarantee, and agree to the terms therein.
