Samoyed

Jan King is from Pennsylvania and breeds Samoyeds. Hi, I have been raising Samoyed dogs over 20 years. I love to provide quality puppies for companionship and loving pet homes. I live on the outskirts of Reading PA on 2 1/2 acres and work in a local hospital maternity department. My goal is to place my puppies in homes where they will be loved and cared for. You can contact me anytime after you purchase your puppy for input and advice. To the best of my ability I try to keep in contact with the owners of my puppies to know how they are doing throughout their lives. I have references from previous buyers so you can feel free to ask for pictures and references. All my puppies are micro-chipped before they leave me and I accept puppies and adult Samoyeds back to be re-homed if their current owners can't keep them. All my dogs get regular veterinary care, quality dog food and vitamin supplements. I'm able to give dog training and dietary advice to the buyers of my puppies if they need it. My college age son, who helps manage our adult dogs, has had experience working with national championship dogs from a local kennel. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.

Samoyed

Mary Zimmerman is from Pennsylvania and breeds Samoyeds. The first time I saw a picture of a Samoyed I knew that was what I wanted. I grew up on a farm in Kentucky with a German Shepherd and later other breeds with herding instincts. But it was not until I moved northeast as an adult that I saw that picture of a Samoyed . Now ,after owning Samoyeds for a number of years, I am more convinced of this being the perfect breed for me than when I first fell in love. The Samoyed is incredibly beautiful, not only in appearance ,but also in temperament. I appreciate their intelligence and their deeply affectionate nature, their eagerness to please while at the same time having a mind of their own. Anyone who is considering owning a Samoyed needs to understand their need for daily meaningful exercise or work. A long walk each day is more important than even a backyard. Attempting to meet the need for affection without providing meaningful exercise that offers stimulation for their minds is not understanding a Samoyed's love language. Obedience training is important, as for any breed, and you must be the pack leader. Being highly sociable, they do need a lot of human interaction. . The Samoyed is an excellent emotional support companion and great therapy dog. My 1-year-old impressed me on a recent trip to Kentucky with her concern for my safety on a steep hillside. I also had opportunity to notice their care for me in the deep snow this past winter, because whenever I would sit down for a minute to rest they would refuse to go explore and play because they wanted to make sure I can get up. My dogs have been easy to train in most areas, including obeying the word "shush!" , but it takes consistency. They do well on long car rides to Kentucky to visit my family. My Radja is all I was looking for in a male Samoyed. Besides being beautiful in appearance and regal in bearing, he has a wonderful personality. Calm and very gentle , he's just a big white teddy bear who loves hugs! He's Russian born and was sired by a multi champion international show dog. In Kaya, I finally found my perfect female. She is lovely , both in appearance and in personality . I am excited to finally offer the perfection I was looking for with this pair as the parents. My priorities in breeding are beauty, temperament, and health. I strive for excellence in all these areas. I have not been breeding for very many years , and it has been a huge learning curve. It is very important to me that there is mutual trust and confidence between me and my puppy's new prospective owners. My desire is to bring happiness to good homes by having beautiful ,healthy puppies ready to give lots of love . I reserve the right to let my darling little polar bears go only to homes I am comfortable with. I like to spend time getting to know the personalities of my puppies and being able to match the right personality with the right person and home. The first 8 weeks of a puppy's life are very important, and it is in that time that the foundation must be laid for them to be able to give and receive love from people. They also learn social skills from their mom and their litter mates. I use a healthy food with cage free chicken or pasture raised lamb as its first ingredient, and also sometimes supplement raw meat to their diet. My puppies see the vet for examination, and I do vaccinate them though that is not my preference due to ethical and health reasons. If you are not comfortable with vaccinations feel free to tell me and I will gladly honor that. Besides the AKC registration application papers, I send my puppies home with a puppy folder that I order from AKC with a lot of information you may find useful. Also a copy of my official litter certificate that has a three-generation pedigree contained in the body. I keep a health record for each puppy, and each one also gets a health certificate from the vet. Each puppy takes home a small starter packet. The best way to contact me is usually by text. I only advertise on AKC, so if you see my name or pictures of my puppies on any other site please know that they do not have my permission and may be falsely representing me. Happy puppy search! AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.

Samoyed

A few years ago our families life changed for the better when I decided to finally say "YES" to our four loveable fluff balls. Our family of 10 has the privilege of living on an 80 acre farm and after 6 generations of using our land and barns as a dairy farm we sold all our cows in 2018 after my Grandpa chose to retire from years of farming. So to our excitement we soon discovered that having a few family dogs is the best way to make use of all our land. In 2019, we had our first litter of Samoyed puppies. Because of all the excitement it brought to our home and the lives of those who adopted the puppies we are continuing to raise purebred Samoyed puppies when the opportunity arises. As we seek to raise puppies with our dogs, our ultimate goal is to have healthy parents and puppies that get the attention they need and to be able to share the excitement we have with other families who are willing to give their full attention and time to our puppies. Exercise is an important daily routine in a Samoyed's life so we make sure each of our pets take advantage of the large outdoor roaming area. Although Samoyeds are not huge water dogs, our pond during the summer is still a yearly highlight. And during the hours of resting and eating they have the privilege of living in their own climate-controlled housing. If you get the opportunity to adopt one of our adorable and loveable puppies, they will come with AKC Registration, a one year health guarantee, and a certified puppy exam from our local Veterinarian of proof that you are receiving a healthy puppy. They will always be up to date on their vaccinations and deworming. And last but not least, we will provide you with a small portion of our quality puppy food that they are currently feasting on, and plenty of helpful information on caring, grooming, and training your new favorite pet. If you have the privilege of adopting one of our puppies in person, you will be welcomed by both the parents on our farm. Lucky, the father of our Samoyeds is OFA Hip Certified EXCELLENT and DNA Genetic Testing cleared! Luckily before Covid hit and complicated the shipping of puppies we were able to import each one of our family pets from Russia, and it was important to us that they all came from a champion bloodline Samoyed family. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information. We would love to show you our special puppy family!

At 15 I started breeding AKC registered dogs. I started out with one pet of my own and grew to small kennel of 4 or 5 dogs. I learned much about raising good healthy puppies and choosing excellent bloodline dogs with good genetic background in order to raise great dogs. I now am married and have sons of our own and have chosen to give each of our sons a pet of their own to love and care for. We are passing on our love for our dogs and a desire to teach them how to care for a pet. Our 2 Samoyed mothers are AKC champion blood line Samoyed's purchased by a excellent breeder in Russia. Both parents have a lot of champion in their bloodline and mom is from the Vanderbilt stock. Our dogs and puppies are well socialized by our 5 boys and they have lots of room to run and play on our 2 acre property next to my fathers 100 acres farm. We love our dogs and work hard to find good homes for each of our puppies. Feel free to call or contact us with any questions. 717-723-0948

Samoyed

Hi! Welcome to our page! Let’s start off with some background and information on us. As a breeder it is our goal to provide families with healthy and happy pets. All of our puppies are raised with children. They receive love from day one and when they reach the proper age they are played with daily. We aim for them to be well socialized and ready to begin their new lives with their forever family. We believe that the first two months of a puppy’s life is key in the overall wellness of a dog. We do all we can to give each puppy the best start in life as possible. We strive for all of our litters to meet all of the Samoyed breed standards. Some of these standards are weight, height, eyes, coat color, disposition and more. All of our dogs are AKC registered and have champion bloodlines. We love this amazing breed and we do our best to better the breed by the litters we produce. We make health a priority. All of our puppies are health certified by a licensed veterinarian. They leave our home up to date on vaccinations and dewormings. The puppies come with a health guarantee and wellness contract. Both of our female dogs are genetic health tested. The stud that we use has his hips certified- excellent. We make it a priority to keep all of our dogs and puppies living areas clean. Cleanliness plays a big part in the overall good health of new puppies and we wouldn’t want to do anything to jeopardize that. Samoyeds do best on a high quality dog food and we make sure to provide that. Plenty of exercise and mental stimulation also plays a big rule in healthy pets so we are sure to provide that as well. Grooming also plays a big part in the happiness of a Samoyed. Both of our dogs go to our amazing groomer at least every other month. Of course we do lots and lots of brushing at home. It’s no fun having a Samoyed that doesn’t like to be brushed. We start brushing the puppies at a early age to get them used to it. By the time they leave our home they are used to being brushed and most enjoy it! Samoyeds are everything you could ask for in a dog and more! They are eager to serve, gentle, loyal, adaptable and intelligent. They truly do make the perfect family dog! We purchased our first Samoyed in 2017 and instantly fell in love with the breed. We are not a full time breeder. First and foremost our dogs are our pets and their health is of utmost importance to us. Our dogs live in the house with us as part of the family. We are in the beginning stages of starting up as a kennel. We are still very small with one, possibly two, litters a year. We are still learning and doing the absolute best we can. Everyday we strive to learn more about this breed and how to become the best breeder of Samoyeds we can possibly be. If you are interested in being on our waiting list for future litters please send us a message! We are bringing these babies into the world and it is our responsibility to find them the best homes where they can live their lives to the greatest potential. All potential buyers are required to fill out a questionnaire to ensure they are a good fit for one of our puppies. We try our best to keep in touch with all of our puppy families to make sure they are happy and healthy. Thank you for visiting our page! Feel free to check out our Facebook page Magnolia Mountain Kennel to stay up to date with pictures of our dogs and puppies and learn more about us. If you would like more information please let us know. We would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have! THE EASIEST AND QUICKEST WAY TO CONTACT US IS THROUGH OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!
