Cathy is from Oregon and breeds Doberman Pinschers. I started showing dogs in 1973 as a teenager. I have owned/shown several AKC champions in the past but no longer have the desire to compete after years of showing several different breeds. My conformation champions were also shown successfully in obedience. I fell in love with Dobermans when I saw CH Marienberg's Sun Hawk at a show I was attending years ago. I have owned Dobermans since the late 1970's. In recent years I have fallen in love with the Euro bred Dobermans. I currently own dogs bred by and purchased directly from Cambria, z Padoku, Betelges, and SunCountry. My dogs carry the bloodlines from the top breeders in Europe and the US. They are from top show and working CH lines. All my dogs are health tested for the appropriate breed specific tests. It is my goal to breed healthy, beautiful, sound minded dogs. I started my dog career training guide dog puppies at 12. I was fortunate to be able learn how to train from the Guide Dogs For the Blind trainers. Please contact us further to hear more about our upcoming puppies!! All of our breeding dogs are genetically health tested to ensure that the litters we produce are as healthy as possible. All proof of testing is public information and viewable on our website. We believe that the information should be available to potential clients so there is no concern about the health of our dogs and pups. Please be sure to do your due diligence when choosing a breeder who states they do the required/suggested health testing for this specific breed. Many can say they do it, but do they really? Where is the proof of the genetic health testing or the certification of patellas and hearts?? Our puppies come home-raised, pre-spoiled, and well-loved right from the start. Our Chihuahua puppies are for sale in a variety of colors, but we specialize in Merles and brindles of all colors, ranging from blue, black, chocolate, and spotted on white Merles. We occasionally have other colors that are not Merle at all, but we are directing our breeding program to be mostly Merle Chihuahuas. We breed both long and smooth coat Chihuahuas. Our puppies are pets first and come with limited AKC registration. We focus on sound temperaments and dispositions in all of our breeding lines. ​ Our dogs live in our home with us where they have plenty of room to explore their yard and home environment! These are indoor dogs only!!! We are not a kennel! Our dogs are very much members of our family and are a part of our daily lives. I have tried to show pictures of how involved our dogs and puppies are with us. Our dogs are routinely checked with our Veterinarian to ensure that they are always of the most optimum health, including eyes, patellas, lungs and hearts. ​ We are life-long Chihuahua lovers and have been raising these beautiful dogs for many years. We are dedicated to bettering the breed by concentrating on the health, appearance, conformation and temperament. We only breed purebred AKC Chihuahuas, no mixes! ​ Our Chihuahua puppies are raised with 24/7 love, attention and care. Our puppies are exceptionally social, great with children, cats, and other dogs. They will easily adapt into your home and family. To help prepare puppies for their new homes, socialization begins early for Salem's Finest Chihuahuas. We familiarize with walking on surfaces such as wood, carpeting, concrete, and tile. They are introduced to household sounds such as crinkling plastic bags and running a vacuum cleaner. Our puppies will come up to date on appropriate puppy shots, will have been dewormed, and will have begun puppy pad pee-training. All puppies come with a blanket that smells like their litter mates and mom. AKC Inspected January 2019!
