I strive to keep the Mountain Cur Breed true to its very versatile working abilities and soundness. All of my breeding dogs have been DNA health tested by Embark and are not affected by any of the conditions in their database. All dogs and puppies are fed Royal Canin, dewormed every 2 weeks, and given monthly flea/heartworm prevention. I introduce the puppies to early neurological stimulation and work with the pups every day. My puppies are raised at my home and go through a “puppy preschool” where they learn their basics and socialization. Their socialization consists of a large variety of noises, objects and sounds that can be scary, different surfaces such as carpet, linoleum, grass, wood, dirt, etc., climbing structures, water, exercise pen, potty training basics, stacking and bench practice, raccoon and squirrel scent imprinting, and are given lots of love and attention every day. They will be current on vaccines (bordatella 3 weeks, combo 6 and 8 weeks). All of my pups go through my “puppy preschool” to prepare them for their new homes, owners, and jobs. A great dog begins with a great breeding and training program!
