Cyn-D's Dachshunds is a small in-home breeding operation. I have been breeding and showing boxers for the last 18 years. I have recently chosen miniature dachshunds as a second breed as it is getting difficult for me to continue to show the boxers. I love these brave little bundles of energy. She was a mixed breed, and she passed away, our hearts were devastated, and so began our search for a new dachsund. Queen City Dachshunds is located in Southwest Ohio near Cincinnati. We have been raising miniature dachshunds in our home for 13 years. We specialize in long haired Miniature Dachshunds with great temperments, conformation and health. We raise only 1-2 litters of longhaired miniature dachshunds per year. They are our family members. All of our dachshunds and dachshund puppies are raised in our home, where they are exposed to sites, sounds and smells on a daily basis. They are also socialized with people, kids and other dogs on a daily basis. This helps give them the confidence and basic puppy skills they will need when transitioning into their new environments with their forever families. We will continue to provide education (knowledge on the breed) as requested and answer any questions or concerns you and your family may have throughout your dachshunds lifetime. Our dachshunds are typically very outgoing and friendly. They love being around other people, kids and animals. They love going outdoors (even in the rain and snow), going on walks, playing games, playing with their toys, giving kisses, getting belly rubs, cuddling, snuggling, burrowing under pillows or blankets, laying on your lap/next to you, taking naps/sleeping with you and of course looking super cute for treats. They want to be around/near you and your other family members and they want to be part of your families day-to-day activities. Over the years our adult dachshunds (family members) have all completed various levels of obedience and agility training. They have also won numerous pet parades/contests and been featured in locally published dog calendar. In addition, we are constantly told that our dachshunds have the softest coats (fur) by everyone they ever meet no matter how young or old .
