We are Laurie and Joe Zalewski, owners and operators of Laurie & Joe’s Labs. We are a small family run program which has an average of 1-3 litters per year. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality puppies free of hereditary defects and possessing desirable positive behavioral qualities. We adhere to the Labrador Retriever Parent Club guidelines for the pre breeding health testing of the dogs in our program. All of our dogs have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen title which proves their excellent temperaments and trainability. We are members of the Merrimack Valley Dog Club and act as stewards at AKC events. We also attend seminars on breeding all over the country so we are utilizing the most up to date practices for the reproductive health of our dogs and care of their puppies. At Laurie& Joe’s Labs, our other goal is to provide our clients with concierge service. Our clients get the best of both worlds. Because we only have one litter at a time , we are available for our clients before and after the puppies are born. We welcome any and all questions. Our philosophy is to raise and keep all of our breeding dogs on our premises and they are treated as family pets. Our goal is that they will enjoy as good a life as the puppies they give us. We begin puppy socialization at birth and continue their training at their developmental milestones so they will make a wonderful family companion for you. Our puppies are introduced to crate conditioning and house training which eases the transition between our home and yours. We do puppy evaluations at 7 weeks which gives a good idea of the temperament of each puppy. We provide a video recording of each puppy along with a written report. This information helps you chose a puppy which meets your needs.
