Birch Spring Brittanys and Philip & Sherri Thayer are from New Hampshire. We have had Brittanys since the mid-1970's and have been breeding since 1988. Our Brittanys have competed in show, obedience, agility, hunt test, field trials, NAVHDA and have been wonderful family hunting companions. We strive to raise Brittanys that meet the dual concept of the breed and yet enjoy cuddling and playing fetch with the kids. Our ultimate goal is to breed a Brittany that becomes an AKC dual champion and a NAVHDA Versatile Champion. Phil has been an AKC hunt test judge since the early 1990's as well as a NAVHDA judge. We are members of the American Brittany Club and the regional clubs: Northern New England and Central Maine Brittany clubs and have served as club officers and event chairs and secretary. Our Brittanys are all DNA profiled and have OFA certified hips and eyes. Our litters are registered through AKC and NAVHDA, and nominated FDSB. The recent litters have also been nominated for the American Brittany club futurity. We have produced eight litters that have earned NAVHDA natural ability breeder awards (the most in our breed). We enjoy working with new Brittany owners and helping them train their pup to be a dependable family hunting companion. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder.
