Jeff Wathen is from Maryland and breeds Basset Hounds. Cecil Creek Kennel has been breeding quality Basset Hounds for over 30 years, our current Sire Barney is from champion hunting stock and is very active and athletic. We are located in Southern Maryland in a rural setting. Jean and I have both been trained to teach basic and advanced obedience which included courses in brain development and the different stages of a puppy's life. Cecil Creek currently has three dams that we are breeding, one is owned by us and the other two are owned by my daughter Julie who still resides on the family farm.
