Growing up in rural southern Kentucky on a dairy farm, I soon realized that having a good dog was almost as good as having your right arm. A neighbor up the road gave us a puppy when I was 7 years old. My Dad said he was going to be our cattle dog and I was instantly hooked. We became almost an inseparable duo, which remained for several years. My love for these dogs has not changed in over 30 years now. I realized years ago that this breed of dog has the ability to be anything you want them to be. This being true of many of the dogs that we have passed on to others. Many have aspired to go on to great levels. I started back breeding Aussies again in 2008 after my parents loved and adored these dogs for over 30 years for dependable cattle dogs. What a wonderful breed for work and pet! Our dogs are farm dogs and we enjoy having a few litters every year to keep our great lines going. Some of our lines can be traced back to the 1970’s.
