Lauren and Wayne Sill are from Hutchinson, Kansas and breed Bernese Mountain Dogs for healthy, quality companions, pets, therapy dogs, and potential breeding candidates. Puppies are born in our house and gently socialized to people and other animals on our farm in order to start them towards becoming well-rounded companions. Our primary concern is to breed puppies that will bring much joy and love to the lives of their families for many years. To achieve this goal, we do our best to select breeding dogs for sound hips, good health histories, longevity, and markings and conformation that are as close to breed standard as possible. We do genetic testing for Degenerative Myelopathy (SOD1A and SOD1B) and VonWillebrand's Disease and use the PennHip exam for all of our dogs' hip evaluations. OFA certifications are done for heart, eyes, and elbows. We realize that there are no absolute guarantees in life for us or our pets, but we believe in what we are doing enough that we stand behind our pups with a very limited one year guarantee against congenital defects. We occasionally have pups available for Full AKC Registration on a selective basis. We don't ship our puppies but we do allow them to fly home with their new families.
