We feel strongly about responsible dog ownership, and breeding. We have very few litters and when we place our puppies we do so on contracts that protect breeder, buyer, and especially, the puppy and include a Mandatory Return Policy. It needs to be noted that we are not a kennel but a private home. Therefore, we do not have “visiting hours” nor do we have an endless stream of puppies. We are currently taking applications for our wait list. Applications are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will contact you when we've received your application and reviewed your references. Once you are on the waiting list, you'll be kept informed when the breeding has taken place and again after an ultrasound confirming the pregnancy (typically 28 days later). Once the puppies are born, you'll receive updates as the puppies grow. Between 6 and 8 weeks of age, we'll start matching puppies with applicants; if we feel that there's a good match with a puppy, we will the request a deposit to "reserve" a puppy. Puppy visits usually begin around 5 weeks of age. Puppies will begin leaving for their new homes around 10 weeks old after getting their first round of vaccinations. They also go home with a bag of helpful “tools” and toys. A few weeks before each family brings home their new baby, I will send out a very information-packed email to help families best prepare for their new arrival. We reserve the right to cancel a puppy adoption at any time if we are uncomfortable with the placement. It is important to find the right fit for our puppies and our families; the puppies’ well-being is always our biggest concern.
