Lois and Ted Grier are Breeders Of Merit from Iowa who breed family oriented, top winning Kerry Blue Terriers. This breed is our passion and we strive protect and preserve this breed and to introduce the joy they can bring to others. Those that have experienced the love of a Kerry know what this means. Kerries can be a challenge but are people oriented and can participate in almost any AKC activity with training. You must be the leader with a Kerry Blue Terrier in the house. Lois and Ted have participated in conformation, rally, obedience, and barn hunt. We have been involved in showing and breeding Kerry Blue Terriers since 2003. Krisma has bred over 90 Champion offspring to date including several finishing in the top 10 and top 5 in the country as well as #1 in the USA and Canada. We participate in both AKC all breed shows, Terrier Specialties and KBT Specialty shows. Our win record includes, 5 Best In Show Winners, 4 National Specialty wins along with countless other KBT and Terrier Specialty wins in USA and Canada, Best of Sweeps, Futurity wins, several Maturity wins, Challenge of Champions, 2 Westminster BOB winners. We are the breeders and owners of Xavier, the 2018 top dog all breeds in Canada. Krisma’s Xavier was the #1 KBT in 2016 and 2017 in the USA, he is MBIS RMBIS MBISS Can GCH Am GCHG Krisma’s Xman First Class RATN. Puppies are well socialized and come with current vaccines, they are sold on a contract with the agreement that if at any time in the dogs lifetime you can not keep him or her you help return it to us. We strive to be there to answer questions and offer help for the life time of your new puppy. We do not ship puppies out alone but ask new owners to drive to Iowa or fly into Des Moines so you can meet our Kerry family. At 10 weeks a puppy fits nicely into a Sherpa bag and can be carried on board a plane with you.
