Nancy Magnusson is from Iowa and breeds Shih Tzu, Bichons, Havanese. I raised my first AKC litter in 1978. I feel education is very important and that is why I belong to many breeder educational organizations. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Our family of four raises healthy and happy puppies for persons and families who love their pets. Iben Family Puppies consists of myself, my husband, and our two children. We also have the help of a professional groomer, veterinarians, and my mentor (over 35 years of experience). We attend informational meetings and educational seminars to continue our best care based on the knowledge of trained vets, groomers, and others who are also striving for the best puppies with the best care. We love what we do. We enjoy the time spent with our dogs, puppies and each other. And, we love to bring joy and happiness to other homes. There is no better gratification than getting a picture of one of our puppies visiting someone's mother at a senior home, or on a walk with someone's child, or that puppy curled up on the husband's lap (who never wanted that dog ;) ) ALL with big smiles on their faces and happy dogs by their sides.
