A. Kari Grotewold is from Iowa and breeds Boxers. My husband introduced me to the Boxer breed, his "Goofy," in 2013. His "first" love was really the English Bulldog but while researching decided that the risk of their health traits outweighed his attraction to their physical features. More research led to his "since" love of Boxers. He purchased Goofy in 2008. We eventually made a decision when our beloved Goofy passed in 2015 that we wanted to breed Boxers and have been taking steps to lead to this first litter. Our Boxers, Tanya and Tucker, provide us with laughter, love, and loyalty and we return those three "Ls" to them. Our Vet has given us compliments about their "good" dispositions. Tanya has been an excellent Mom both protective and loving. We have whelped this litter in our living room and sided their Mom's love with our love and around the clock human interaction. Initially I had not planned to list on the AKC Marketplace feeling that I did not have enough experience as a first time breeder but our Vet strongly encouraged me to do so. I am so thankful that I did as our first customer has kept in touch with tidbits like, "she seems to know "yes" and "sit" already - I am guessing you have worked with her. I am working on heel out on the sidewalk. She is a peach." I am looking forward to working with more customers and their satisfaction. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Sharon Loney is from Iowa and breeds Shiba Inu since 2000. Our daughter fell in love with the breed when she saw one during dog training class. We was in the process of retiring and moving to the country and was thinking about breeding dogs. She talked us into getting Shiba's and we still have them and love the breed. The Shiba is not a dog for everyone so we recommend doing your research on them before adopting. They are not like your typical dog as they have a lot of Cat like qualities. Our Shiba's love their large yards to run and play with each other and our other dogs(boxers and two spayed pugs. They also have inside quarters if they what. We pride our self in raising well sociable Shiba that get along with each other and other breeds. We have two males and seven females. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
