Richard Valentini is from Georgia. He breeds and shows his Italian Greyhounds and Norwegian Buhunds under his kennel prefix of Valhasar Italian Greyhounds and Norwegian Buhunds. Richard has been breeding and showing with his Kennel name, VALHASAR, since 1975, but only incorporates dogs with thorough Health Testing from parents who have all recognized and available Health Tests recommended by their Breed Clubs. He has several Champions and Grand Champions that he shows and breeds in an effort to produce a dog that is healthy and sound in mind and body. He is a Breeder of Merit in Italian Greyhounds and will hopefully attain that recognition in Norwegian Buhunds when he fulfills those requirements by the AKC, and he hopes to accomplish that task with his first Buhund show pups going into the ring this year. he also hopes to have his Valhasar Facebook page and Website online within the next few weeks as both are under construction now. in addition to his designation as a Breeder of Merit, he is a member of the Greater Atlanta Toy Dog Club and The Norwegian Buhund Club of America, and past President of his local all breed club. Italian Greyhounds raised with love. Our first Italian Greyhounds came to us in 1999. Both finished their AKC championships, and inspired our longtime love of the breed. We participate in our breed's National Specialty Show most years, and are active in rescue as well. Our dogs are fed a species appropriate raw diet, and receive health care from a holistic veterinarian when needed. Shawn Mays is the owner of Amayz Italian Greyhounds and lives in Plains Georgia. Amayz Italian Greyhound stands behind her pups and will gladly take them if you can no longer provide them a home. The parents have had genetic testing to ensure the healthiest pups. All pups are raised in my home, no kennel. I will not ship, but will drive to meet new parents halfway - up to six hours. It is much less stressful on these amazing “unicorns” of the canine world.
