April and Todd Clyde are dedicated Breeders of top quality Airedale Terriers. We are very proud of the show success of Longvue Airedales in the United States, Canada, England and Australia. For example, Longvue dogs have sired 4 all breed Best in Show winners and multiple US Number 1 Airedale Terriers. But most importantly, we are delighted that hundreds of families enjoy the companionship of a healthy and happy puppy from Longvue. Our breeding goal is to provide a puppy that will easily mesh with your lifestyle and family. Our success in achieving this goal is demonstrated by the large number of families who return to Longvue time and time again for a new Airedale puppy. So, how do we develop the puppy that you will bring home to your family? We start with careful selection of the Mother and Father of the pup. We choose parents who are good-looking with outgoing stable personalities and good health. This is demonstrated by their attainment of an AKC conformation Championship and achievement of breed specific health clearances (CHIC Certified). Our pups are born and raised in our home and we have a dedicated puppy area to ensure proper environmental control for the young pups. We provide love, attention and socialization everyday throughout the day. The puppies receive specific exposures to develop stable personalities. Of course we also focus on health too. We utilize a standard worming protocol so your pup will be free of worms and parasites. The pups visit our vet at about 6 weeks for a complete physical examination and their first vaccination. At 8 weeks, you can select the pup you want to take home. The pup will be microchipped and registered with AKC and also with AKC Reunite Recovery service at no charge to you. Your pup comes to you with a written agreement and specific health guarantees. We also provide you with an entire notebook full of information about puppy care and development and the specific background of your pup. We are available to you by phone or email at any time. And, if you can no longer care for your pup for any reason, it can always come home to Longvue.   As you can tell, Airedale Terriers are our full time job and life time passion! Todd is a second generation "dog person" and he spends every day caring for our adult Airedales. He can always be found trimming, training or playing with an Airedale. April is a retired Nurse Executive and her second career is raising puppies and supporting families who purchase Longvue puppies. You will find her in the puppy room cuddling a pup or providing developmental stimulation. As responsible breeders, we are AKC Breeders of Merit; members of the Airedale Terrier Club of America, Mispillion Kennel Club, Montgomery County Kennel Club (Todd) and the Salisbury Maryland Kennel Club. We breed, exhibit and judge Airedale Terriers and devote our lives to them.   We are expecting pups ready to go to your home in September 2020.  We occasionally have show potential pups and adults available for placement.
