Blue Horizon Akitas are located in the Denver, Colorado area. Leslie Allen & Ken Jones have owned Akitas for the past 30 years and have a deep love and respect for the breed. Proud parents Iko and Bellamy were selected specifically to start our breeding program. This is their second and final litter. The puppies are born and raised in our home, not in kennels, and are handled and loved on every day to prepare them to be happy family members. At Denver Akitas we take a lot of pride and love in raising our babies. We are in love with the breed and it shows in the pups. We have been raising dogs for over 40 years. We take pride in breeding Akitas. The Akita is a special Dog that is very intelligent, may come off stubborn at times, and yet is the most loyal dog you will ever meet. Please be familiar with the breed before you decide to raise them. Our dogs and pups have very sound temperaments.They come from homes with children and small pets including cats and chickens! We show a lot of love and discipline. Our adults show exuberance when greeted by visitors. Our puppies, though each having different personalities, are carefully nurtured and exposed to as many situations as would be found in most home environments.

I have a litter of 7 puppies born 9/23/21, 5 females and 2 males. We are a dog family! We are dedicated to the proper care, health, and wellbeing of our Akita's. The importance of making a dog part of the family cannot be measured and can be the most valuable experience of a life time. My dogs are very social and have interaction with people of all ages. They are very well cared for and we take an extreme amount of pride in providing the best care and the most ideal enviornment for the dogs. They are gentle giants who cuddle and watch over my family. Our love for Akita's is why we chose to breed. I want others to experience this courageous, loyal, and dignified breed and the Carmona Akita's exemplify this philosophy.
